Open data is fit for the publisher's purpose. How do you know if it's fit for yours?

#1

Do you have the information you need to confidently know that the data is fit to use for your app or analysis?

What information do you need to help you decide?

#2

It would be great to have basic visualisations of the data available, as this would inform users more quickly and easily as to fitness for purpose.

#3

A clear understanding of the meta data and the story that the dataset is supposed to tell is required to know if published data can be suitable.

If it seems suitable, then publishing cycles and data quality measures need to be understood to make a decision.
